Bristol, TN -- The THL Truck series also stopped by Bristol Motor Speedway on March 20th, 2012 for the running of the O'Reilly 125. This was the second time the THL Truck series has run at Bristol and the defending race winner was nowhere in sight.Mike Husby won his 9th career pole with Brent Sweet starting alongside on the front row. Husby took thet early lead and led the race for the first fifteen laps before Brent Sweet took over the lead on lap 16.
Eight lead changes between 3 drivers made the race very interesting. The race pace would slow a total of three times with the final caution coming out on lap 57.
As the race went green for the remainder of the event, Mike Husby and Kyle Young ended up duking it out for the lead. With 17 laps to go Kyle Young spun off of turn two, but managed to gather it back up and for the majority of the final laps stayed about 5 seconds behind race leader Mike Husby.
Husby unfortunately would do the same thing with 5 laps to go and Young powered back by to take the lead. Young led the rest of the way en route to his 2nd victory of the season. Mike Husby finished 2nd, Brent Sweet 3rd, Austin LaPlante 4th, and Curtis James rounded out the top 5.
