Sparta, KY -- The CASCOR THL Truck Series returned to action at Kentucky Speedway on March 13th, 2012. Just as well as the SuperCup Series the THL Trucks series also had not had a repeat winner up to this race. But would we finally see the first repeat winner of the season? Or could we see a new face in victory lane?Pete Engelmanas and Brent Sweet started on the front row and led the field down to the green flag. Engelmanas went on to lead the most laps (59) as Brent Sweet, Kyle Young and Mike Husby attempted to dethrone Engelmanas from the top spot.
All attempts became unsuccessful as Pete Engelmanas went on to win the Meijer 100. Brent Sweet finished 2nd, Mike Husby 3rd, Kyle Young 4th, Johnny Williams 5th and Chris Swett rounded out the finishing order in 6th.
Next time the Truck series heads to the high banked bullring of Bristol Motor Speedway. Would the trend of different winners end at 3? Or could anyone finally repeat as a winner this season? Stay tuned to find out.
