
Atlanta, GA -- The week started off with CASCOR Super Car Series action at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Tyler Ellery would grab the pole position with Mike Husby starting alongside to lead the field down to the green flag. Ellery led the first four laps before Mike Husby took over the lead on lap 5.
Will Wolf who showed his hand early, took the top spot from Husby on lap seven and led until the caution flew for the first time of the night on lap 12.
Mike Husby would lead the field back to the green flag on lap 16. One more caution came out before the race was called at lap 60 for poor racing conditions.
Husby went on to lead the most laps and took home his third victory of the 2011 season. Will Wolf finished a close 2nd, Julian Madore 3rd, Pete Engelmanas 4th and Robert Hill rounded out the top 5.
Next week the Super Car Series has the week off. But will return to action on September 12th for the make up race at Kentucky. You will not want to miss it!

Bristol, TN -- On Tuesday night the CASCOR THL Truck Series made the trip to Thunder Valley for what would be a thriller and one of the favorite tracks on the schedule amongst most drivers.
Mike Husby captured his fifth pole of the 2011 season as Wesley Hoag started alongside to bring the field down to the green flag.
Husby would lose the lead on lap one handing it over to teammate Wesley Hoag early on. The first fourteen laps went caution free before Will Wolf got loose in front of Mike Husby as the two made contact in the middle of turns 3 and 4.
Tyler Tucker would lead the field back to the green flag on lap 20, with many drivers having issues with wheel spin on the restarts.
A few more cautions would fly as the final caution of the night came out on lap seventy-five, setting up a 79 lap green flag run to the finish.
Tucker would once again, lead the field back to green on the restart with 79 laps to go. Tyler Tucker, Will Wolf and Mike Husby would duke it out in the final fifty or so laps, battling for the victory. The trio would swap positions several times a lap as the race drew to a close.
But with 23 laps to go Will Wolf took over the lead for the final time, holding off all the charges by Husby and Tucker to win his first THL Truck Series race of his career. Tyler Tucker finished a hard fought 2nd, Husby 3rd, Wesley Hoag 4th and Matt Bergeron rounded out the top 5.
